Harry Styles is building a bar in his house.

The 21-year-old singer has decided to create his very own drinking establishment in his north London home and is taking inspiration from some of his favourite nightspots around the city.

A source said: ''Harry is a really sociable guy, he loves hanging out with friends in cool bars.

''But wherever he goes, he is subject to a lot of attention, so he tends to party more in private members' bars where he's less likely to be bothered.

''The design team have taken inspiration from some of the rooms in Harry's favourite bars, like Soho House and Groucho Club.''

The One Direction star bought the home in Hampstead in 2012 for £3 million but has spent more than 18 months renovating the property, with hopes the basement bar will be his home's crowning glory when it is finished this summer.

The source explained: ''While all the renovations were going on, he had the idea of creating his own hangout, in the privacy of his own home, where friends could stay until the early hours.''

And now the drinking spot - which has already been dubbed 'Harry's Bar' by pals - has excited his bandmates, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan, who are keen to try out the establishment.

The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''It's going to be the ultimate boys' den.''
