Hayden Panettiere was unharmed in car crash last month but an eye witness reportedly told police that she never would have crashed if she had not run a red light
Hayden Panettiere escaped unharmed in a recent car crash.
The 'Nashville' star reportedly caused chaos in the Tennessee city on November 14 when she hit a car that unexpectedly drove into her lane after she allegedly ran a red light in her BMW.
But according to gossip website TMZ.com, an eye witness told police that the former 'Heroes' beauty would never have crashed if she had not broken the red light.
The official police report states that the blonde actress was driving in the right lane through an intersection when the other driver made a left turn into her lane - instead of into the left lane.
No one was injured in the accident but both cars were towed from the scene.
Hayden, 23, is currently riding high on the success of her new ABC drama based on the country music industry.
But the actress hasn't always had it so easy. She previously admitted she used to suffer from body dysmorphia after a magazine printed a picture of her in denim shorts under the 'cellulite'.
She said: ''It gave me such body dysmorphia for so long. But I remember reminding myself that beauty is an opinion, not a fact. And it has always made me feel better.
''I now try to eat healthfully but I don't go crazy over it, But you gotta eat!''
