'Berberian Sound Studio' star Toby Jones has revealed he believes Jennifer Lawrence is one of the best actresses of her generation and will be around for a long time.
Toby Jones thinks Jennifer Lawrence is a ''class A act''.
The 56-year-old actor - who picked up the Best Actor gong at the London Evening Standard British Film Awards last night (04.02.13) - starred alongside the talented actress in last year's hit 'The Hunger Games' and believes she deserves the many trophies she has received for her Oscar-nominated role in 'Silver Linings Playbook'.
Speaking before the awards ceremony at the London Film Museum, Toby told BANG Showbiz: ''She's going to be around an awful long time. She's a class A act. I was lucky enough to work with her for longer than 'The Hunger Games' on a film called 'Serena' which is going to come out later this year.
''We'll begin to see even more of her range in that film. It's absolutely amazing what she does. I had to arrest her - and that was a great pleasure!''
Toby beat off stiff competition from Daniel Day-Lewis and Eddie Redmayne to take the top acting award for his role as a British sound designer in eclectic psychological thriller 'Berberian Sound Studio'.
He recently signed up to reprise his part as Dr. Arnim Zola in superhero blockbuster 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier', with filming kicking off later this year.
Quizzed as to whether he was impressed with Marvel's alleged choice of 'Revenge' actress Emily VanCamp for the female lead, he replied: ''It's so much a rumour I haven't even heard it!'', before admitting: ''Everyone tells me she'd be perfect''.
However, Toby will feel the loss of the film's original love interest, Peggy Carter, after British star Hayley Atwell declined to return to the sequel.
He sighed: ''Hayley Atwell is incomparable.''
