Dame Helen Mirren came face-to-face with the real-life Queen Elizabeth II on Monday night (09May11) during a charity event at Buckingham Palace in London.
The veteran actress won an Oscar for her portrayal of Britain's monarch in 2006 movie The Queen, and they came together for a second time at a reception in the British capital to celebrate young people in the performing arts.
Mirren, who previously met the ruler at Britain's Royal Ascot racecourse in 2008, wasn't the only celebrity guest in attendance - Welsh singer Duffy, rapper Goldie and actress Sheila Hancock also appeared at the gala hosted by the Queen and her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
