Henry Cavill, the latest actor to don the outfit of Metropolis' most famous resident, Superman, is set to make a surprise appearance at the studio's Hall H panel this Saturday (July 14, 2012), the Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
Thus far, word on who will be spilling the beans on the latest incarnation of the DC franchise, titled Man of Steel, was set to only be director Zack Snyder and a handful of footage. Now it seems that Snyder will not be alone on the panel, with Brit actor Cavill set to be on stage with him to discuss what audiences can expect from the film. The other actors set to star in the movie, such as Kevin Costner And Russell Crowe, are not expected to attend, but who knows who might be there given this leak.
Warner Brothers, the studio behind the latest Superman film, sent out a press release this Wednesday elaborating the details of the film panels set to be on offer at this years Comic Con, although no word was made on whether Cavill would appear. The other films that WB will be parading will be The Hobbit (with Ian McKellan, set to be on the panel) and Pacific Rim, Guillermo Del Toro's upcoming sci-fi monster epic.
