In a thrilling season finale to hit US medical drama HOUSE, in which the former funnyman is shot by an angry ex-patient's husband, the famous leg injury that has turned the TV doctor into a painkilling pill-popper is cured. And according to set insiders, that's because Laurie is sick of limping for hours every day. A source says, "His back was giving him problems... He's been desperately begging producers and writers to have his character's hobble disappear. "The surgery to mend his gunshot wounds will mysteriously heal his leg."
