Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan has dragged his ex-wife LINDA into an ongoing legal battle with his insurance company over their son's near-fatal car crash.
The star's son Nick was involved in a tragic accident in Clearwater, Florida in 2007, which left passenger John Graziano with permanent brain damage.
The 20 year old served time in prison in 2008 after pleading no contest to reckless driving for his part in the high-speed collision.
Bosses at car insurance firm Wells Fargo Southeast paid out $250,000 (£166,650) to the Graziano family as a result of the crash - but the sportsman was left to pick up the bill when he was sued by the victim's relatives for negligence.
Hogan - real name Terry Bollea - filed his own suit against the insurers earlier this year (10), alleging they should have alerted him to take up a more expensive policy to cover teenagers driving his vehicles because the policy limits put his personal fortune at risk.
Amended court papers, filed on Tuesday (16Nov10), show he's added Linda Bollea as a defendant, alleging his ex-wife - who worked as his business manager - was partly responsible for sorting out his insurance policy.
His lawyer Wil Florin tells the St. Petersburg Times, "While Terry does not relish litigation with his ex-wife, her refusal to accept legal responsibility for her errors and omissions necessitates this action."
