Hulk Hogan was involved in a bloody boating accident.

The wrestling legend tweeted about the incident yesterday (15.09.2013) after taking his boat out for a spin with a friend and he revealed the pair were both ''covered in blood'' after the windshield ''exploded''.

He wrote: ''Today both me and Dr Crespo ended up covered in blood, the windshield on my boat exploded because of the wind and speed on the water, crazy HH. (sic)''

It seems this isn't a rare occurrence though, as Hulk added one of the pair usually ''ends up bleeding'' whenever they go boating.

He said: ''How come everytime we go out on the boat someone ends up bleeding HH?''

The 59-year-old star seemed unfazed and quickly took to the social networking site to tell his fans about the incident - and it isn't the first time he has been involved in a dangerous boating accident.

In May this year the TNA grappler was hospitalised after suffering serious burns to his hands when the radiator on board one of his vessels exploded leaving him in agony.

Along with a photograph of the injury, he tweeted at the time: ''Just had a radiator explode on my hand, OUCH. (sic)''

The photos were considered too gruesome for the site and Hulk was forced to issue an apology following their release.

He said: ''I apologize for posting my burned hand photos, with all the feedback I now realize I really should take a moment before I make a decision.''
