Police Caution For Bannerman After 'Paparazzi Clash'by Contributor | 20 January 2008
Police have cautioned I'm a celebrity
Get Me Out of Here! star Marc Bannerman following a confrontation with a photographer.
The 34-year-old reality TV contestant was arrested last month after photographers reportedly blocked him and Cerys Matthews from leaving a pub in Pembrokeshire.
Bannerman and Matthews, who met in the Australian jungle on I'm a Celebrity, had been having a meal at the Ship Inn, Trefin, which is close to the former Catatonia singer's home.
A row broke out when up to 15 paparazzi used their cars to prevent the ex-EastEnder and Matthews from leaving.
Both Bannerman and a photographer were arrested and later bailed following the incident.
But a spokesman for Dyfed-Powys police said today: "A 34-year-old man has been cautioned for criminal damage.
"No further action is being taken against the other man."
Bannerman and Matthews bonded while filming the last series of ITV1's I'm a Celebrity, leading to the end of the actor's relationship with actress Sarah Matravers.
