Ian Brown appeared on stage with former bandmate GARY 'MANI' MOUNFIELD at this weekend's (26JUN05) Glastonbury Festival - further fuelling rumours the Stone Roses will reform.

The former Stone Roses bassist joined Brown after his solo set at the event, which was packed with the former band's classic hits.

Brown then apologised for the curfew preventing him from playing on.

Mani was at the English festival playing with Primal Scream on the Pyramid Stage.

Earlier this month (JUN05), Mani expressed his desire to reunite with Brown and guitarist JOHN SQUIRE- and his appearance with Brown suggests he's making progress.

Before being joined by Mani, Brown performed a number of Stone Roses classics including I WANNA BE ADORED, SALLY CINNAMON, WATERFALL and MADE OF STONE.
