Actor Isaiah Washington has had part of his donation to Barack Obama's U.S. presidential campaign refunded - because the generous star exceeded the maximum legal amount by $50 (GBP25).
The former Grey's Anatomy star handed over cash to help the Illinois senator's bid for the White House on two separate occasions, with the amounts totalling $4,600 (GBP2,300).
But Washington was forced to accept a $50 refund after the Federal Election Commission ruled he had given more than the legal limit, reports TMZ.com.
