Ja Rule is insisting new rapper 50 CENT took out a restraining order against him and his associates following a fight.
But 50 Cent denies the order even exists, calling it a 'publicity stunt'.
On 24 March 2000 Ja Rule, real name JEFFREY ATKINS, and two of his friends were arrested in LA for an assault on 50 Cent and two of his cronies.
Reports in America state that on 9 June 2000 a temporary order of protection was filed by the state to keep Ja Rule and his associates away from 50 Cent.
But 50 Cent claims that Rule invented the document to boost sales of his album THE LAST TEMPTATION. He says, "He feels he can say something to discredit me on the street. I don't need no protection from nobody."
Ja Rule claims that 50 Cent is a police informer. He says, "I can't talk about 50 Cent because he's working with the police, so anything I say can be used against me in a court of law. He's a snitch."
