50 Massacres The Competition Again
Rapper 50 CENT's new album THE MASSACRE is refusing to budge at the top of the US album charts after selling 2.3 million copies in just over two weeks.
The album, which crashed into the top of the charts at the beginning of March (05) with an opening week sale of 1.14 million, continues to outsell the competition.
It has sold another 364,000 units in its third week on release.
The 18th NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC compilation debuted at number two in the new chart with 339,000 units sold.
Further down the Billboard chart, rock legends CROSBY STILLS + NASH earned their highest-charting album since 1989 with their GREATEST HITS package (number 24), while Al Green has scored his highest debut for 30 years - his EVERYTHING'S OK album charted at number 50.23/03/2005 21:35
