Chris Pine was left nursing a broken finger after a stunt went wrong on the set of his new action movie Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.
The Star Trek actor, who plays the latest incarnation of Tom Clancy's fictional hero in the new movie, had to wear a splint on his hand following an accident on set, and Pine admits the mishap was embarrassing.
He tells Collider.com, "I broke my finger in a stunt in a very not-too-romantic way. I was just trying to tackle someone and I just flicked his forearm and then screamed in pain."
The new film is due for release later this month (Jan14).
