Jack White shared his love of taxidermy in an episode of antiques TV show American Pickers as he haggled for an elephant's head.
The rocker made an unlikely cameo in the series, which follows Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz as they scour junkyards and basements for antiques and collectibles.
The duo visited White at his Third Man Records base in Nashville, Tennessee and unpacked the stuffed elephant's head from a giant crate as he quipped, "That is the weirdest looking giraffe I've ever seen."
White then explains, "I've never hunted, I don't think I ever could, but I really do love animals. And I love the majesty of taxidermy."
The White Stripes frontman later tries his luck at negotiating, telling Wolfe and Fritz, "What do you guys think about doing a little trade on a couple of items so I can bring the price down a little bit?"
They then shake hands after agreeing to swap the elephant's head for White's vintage jukebox, a black-and-white photobooth and $6,000 (£3,750).
