Oscar-nominated actor Jack Wild's widow has vowed to finish the autobiography the OLIVER! actor started before his death. Wild - who played the ARTFUL DODGER in the 1968 movie - died last month (MAR06) aged 53 after a battle with mouth cancer, leaving his memoirs incomplete. But CLAIRE is determined to keep working on it - and promises it will be packed with tales of Wild's time in Hollywood. She says, "I'm going to finish his autobiography. Jack wanted to call the book IT'S A DODGER'S LIFE because his career was rather about ducking and weaving. "I interviewed him so often for the book, wanting to know what it's like to be a child star, why he passed up the chance to sing with Frank Sinatra and what it felt like to meet his hero, John Wayne."
