Jade Goody was last night (10.09.10) hailed as "the ultimate 'Big Brother' housemate".

In a tearful tribute to Bermondsey-born Jade - who died of cervical cancer in 2009 - 'Big Brother' played a video montage of her greatest moments in and out of the house.

Host Davina Mccall introduced a video clip of Jade, and talking about the search for the best 'Big Brother' housemate, she said: "Some would say we already know who that is. Ladies and gentlemen - Jade Goody."

Many paid tribute to the star, including publicist Max Clifford, who said in the montage: "Jade was Jade - outspoken, outrageous, but someone with obvious charisma that put her head and shoulders above everyone she met.

"It's amazing this girl from Bermondsey has touched the hearts and minds of so many people all over the world."

Her mother Jackiey also highlighted Jade's achievements in the house.

Despite coming fourth she managed to become the show's first Millionaire, launching perfumes, fitness DVDs and further reality TV shows.
