The THANK YOU star, 23, follows Coldplay, The Darkness and Travis into the 2004 line-up, a contemporary take on the 1984 all-star BAND AID collective which helped raise cash to relieve Ethiopia's famine crisis.
And Jamelia was quick to sign up to the cause, insisting it's important for the youth of today to understand the importance of helping out poor countries - and appreciate the charity work of Band Aid and Live Aid (1985) organisers SIR BOB GELDOF and MIDGE URE.
She says, "I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to be part of it. It's important for my generation to realise we can try to change things.
"I was only aged three the first time round so I'm really pleased I can help to bring awareness to a generation that missed it."
