British star James Blunt has called on tabloids to stop focusing on the trivial exploits of pantyless celebrities - because it takes away from more important issues. The YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL singer, a former British soldier, is desperate to force news publications to turn away from the current celebrity culture and return to covering more meaningful causes. He tells American publication Life, "The notion of fame is such a distraction from what I do. "And it's unhealthy when we have things like war and global warming going on. We need to adjust the balance. "Stop producing magazines that publish pictures of celebrities jumping out of cars with no underwear on."
