Documentary DEATH IN GAZA has been awarded the top prize at human rights film festival - in honour of British cameraman JAMES MILLER who was killed during filming in 2003.

ONE WORLD 2005, held in Prague, Czech Republic and currently in its' seventh year, selected the documentary about the Israeli army's destruction of hundreds of homes in the Palestinian territories to walk away with its top accolade.

The Israeli army decided last month (APR05) to take no action against an officer accused of responsibility over the fatal shooting in the Gaza town of Rafah near the Egyptian border as Miller and his crew left a Palestinian home.

The jury says, "The author paid with his life for this film, and this also influenced our decision."
