Movie star James Woods identified two of the hijack suspects who steered planes into the World Trade Center on September 11 (01) as the potential terrorists he spotted on a flight months before the tragedy.
The CASINO star alerted flight staff to the suspicious foursome, who seemed to be overly attentive when it came to the pilot's lavatory breaks, but politically correct authorities didn't take his concerns further because they feared they'd be accused of racial profiling if they investigated.
Woods reveals, "There were four guys there who looked like... Palestinian terrorists. I said, 'Gee, these guys all look alike, they don't have carry-on luggage, they're all standing around, they're all dressed alike.' It just seemed odd.
"I thought, 'These guys are gonna hijack the plane.' I finally went up to the flight attendant and I said, 'Look, I know this is a serious thing to say on a flight but I think that there is a possibility that this plane may be hijacked.'
"They made a report, evidently... and I never heard anything more about it until 9/11. That night I called the FBI and they said they appreciated the call but I wouldn't hear from them again.
"In fact the next morning at seven o'clock they were at my door and after looking through some photographs, and so on, I did identify two of the four people I saw on my plane as two of the people who died on 9/11, who were hijacking suspects."03/02/2005 02:26
