Jamie Dornan has secured a massive pay rise to star in the 'Fifty Shades' sequels.

The 32-year-old hunk - who starred opposite Dakota Johnson in the raunchy film based on the novels by author E.L. James - was rumoured to want out of the franchise following the negative reaction to the first movie, but he's now agreed to remain in the role and is set to pocket £4.5 million for appearing in the last two films.

A friend shared: ''Jamie has signed the deal and he's thrilled. The money on offer was just too good.

''He's been really worried that he will get typecast as Christian Grey and it will do his long-term career ambitions damage. So he was about to walk away and leave it all behind. Then bosses of the movie franchise came back with the jaw-dropping offer.''

It has been reported that Jamie's wife, Amelia Warner, was opposed to him appearing in another 'Fifty Shades' film, because of the steamy scenes with Dakota Johnson.

However, Jamie's friend told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Amelia has no issue with it at all but Jamie is too embarrassed to let her see racier scenes.''
