JANE DOE, the mother of Michael Jackson's child molestation accuser, blasted the pop star's family for whispering during her cross-examination in court on Friday (17SEP04).

The angry mother, who took the stand on Friday morning as part of the pre-trial hearing into the molestation case, insisted proceedings were stopped while she addressed Jackson's mother and siblings Janet, LaToya and JERMAINE, who were present in the Santa Maria, California, courthouse.

Doe insisted the behaviour was rude.

The mother spent two hours on the witness stand answering questions fired at her from Jackson's lawyer THOMAS MESEREAU as he attempted to find out if Jane Doe knew of private investigator BRADLEY MILLER, hired by the King of Pop's former attorney MARK GERAGOS, before his offices were raided by prosecution investigators.

Jane Doe testified that she did not remember if Miller told her he worked for Jackson, but she did believe he worked for the singer.

She also answered questions about her and her family's alleged, false imprisonment at Jackson's Neverland Ranch.

After the courtroom drama, Mesereau addressed journalists and fans outside the courthouse.

With Jackson's family standing behind him, the lawyer said, "The charges he (Jackson) faces are false and will be battled in a court of law within our justice system. He is innocent and will be vindicated."
