Actress Jane Fonda is keen to dispel rumours she is living the life of a millionairess, insisting she gives a lot of her movie and book paycheques to charity.

The 67-year-old OSCAR-winner recently returned to the big screen in romantic comedy Monster-In-Law, and gave 50 per cent of her salary to her favourite cause.

When asked by NEW YORK POST journalist Liz Smith, if she was financially secure, Fonda says, "I'm OK, but I work to endow my organisations in Georgia.

"The CAMPAIGN FOR ADOLESCENT PREGNANCY PREVENTION, a statewide idea to help children against sexual abuse, poor parenting, school failure. Half my salary from Monster-In-Law went to that. If people want to help, the website is WWW.GCAPP.ORG."
