Jane's Addiction axed their headline set at Britain's Reading Festival on Saturday night (27Aug11) after frontman Perry Farrell lost his voice.
The veteran rockers were due to top the bill on the event's NME/Radio 1 Stage on Saturday but pulled out hours before showtime because of Farrell's vocal problems.
Bbc presenter Fearne Cotton said, "Jane's Addiction couldn't play today. Dave Navarro came out on stage to explain that Perry Farrell had lost his voice. Obviously Perry is absolutely gutted that they couldn't play today."
