Led Zeppelin's reunion drummer Jason Bonham is planning a star-studded new album featuring all the rock icons he has performed with.

The son of Led Zep's John Bonham, Jason sat in for his father when Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones reteamed for a one-off 2007 concert in London - and now he's keen to gather the big names he has worked with for a new jam album.

He tells Classic Rock Revisited, "I've always wanted to do an album with half the people I've worked with. People like Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers, Jeff Beck and Slash."

And he's also hoping to hit the road with another group of rock legends - his supergroup Black Country Communion, which also features guitarist Joe Bonamassa, former Deep Purple star Glenn Hughes and Dream Theater's Derek Sherinian.

He explains, "My thing would be that we should, for the fans, go out and play."
