Hip-hop producer Mike Dean has confirmed Jay Z and Kanye West are planning a return to the studio to record a sequel to their hit album Watch The Throne.
The rap superstars released the project last summer (11) and scored smash singles with Otis, H.A.M. and N**gas in Paris, and in December (11), Jay Z teased fans about the possibility of recording another joint project with the Stronger hitmaker.
He told MTV.com, "We - I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode - we're in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye, and a Throne album next year... We really found our zone."
Now beatmaker Dean reveals work on the Watch The Throne follow-up will commence once West and his G.O.O.D. Music label artists finish their upcoming compilation.
He tells QuietLunch.com, "I'm working on the G.O.O.D. Music album, of course, and Watch The Throne 2 - it's not started yet, but it's coming."
But fans may face an extended wait - Jay Z recently confessed he's struggling to find the inspiration to come up with new songs after becoming a father to daughter Blue Ivy.
He said, "I thought I would be more inspired with all the new feelings and everything that I'd have to write about, but it really happened the other way. I just really wanna hang out with her. I just wanna enjoy those moments for a bit and I'm sure that feeling of music will come back to me."
