Oscar winner Jeff Bridges still struggles to come to terms with the fact he's a grandfather - because he has barely had the time to bond with his daughter Isabelle's four-month-old baby girl.
The Crazy Heart star's eldest child gave birth to little Grace in March (11) but he's been too busy working on a new album and film projects to take a break and spend time with his family's new addition.
The 61 year old tells the New York Post, "The grandfather thing is really amazing, but I haven't really gotten up to speed on that yet.
"My daughter lives in Oakland, and I've only held little Gracie a couple of times. But I'm looking forward to spending more time with her. I can't believe it; I've never thought of myself as a grandfather - that's really the new role in my life."
