Jennifer Aniston's secret half-brother is reportedly a ''scruffy punk''.
The glamorous 'Friends' star shares the same father as 22-year-old Alex John Aniston - who unlike his big sister favours a nomadic existence as a ''boho surfer''.
Going by the name of AJ, he is said to split his time between Santa Cruz in California and Alaska.
Friend Samantha Robles, who works as a body piercer at Chimera Tattoo Studio said: ''He had a mattress in the back of his van, always had the same pair of pants with 20 patches on it and only had three shirts.
''He just hung out in his van on the beach, and would come in all sandy.''
Her boyfriend Mateo added: ''Santa Cruz has a large population of transient punk kids, usually travelling north.
''When I talked to AJ last, him and his girlfriend were doing something in Alaska, like farming. I think her family had land up there.''
The reported college drop-out did attend his 43-year-old sister's premiere for 'Along Came Polly' when he was 14, but has otherwise managed to stay under the radar.
However, former neighbour Rich Koslowski claims his identity was well known in Santa Cruz because he was spotted with his famous father John Aniston.
He told Australian magazine New Idea: ''I figured out who he was when one day I saw the dad turn up. I had friends out back and AJ and John were going through the garbage can. I talked to them briefly.''
