Congratulations to Justin Bieber who can rest safe in the knowledge that more people than anyone else in the world want to know about every little thing he's doing - the 17 year-old pop superstar topping a list of the celebrities most searched for online, according to search engine Bing.
It's been a busy year for the singer, with part 3d-biopic part concert film 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' grossing over $30 million dollars at the box office back in February, the star then fulfilling a plethora of live shows and promotional engagements before announcing the release of Christmas album 'Under The Mistletoe'. More dubiously, Bieber's been in the headlines after 20 year-old Mariah Yeater alleged that he was the father of her child, something his camp are in the process of rigorously defending.
The only male in the list, CBS News reports that he nevertheless beat both Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston down into second and third respectively. Kardashian has kept busy throughout this year, but unfortunately for her will be remembered for the short and ugly 72 day marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries, and with her recent reality show 'Kim And Kourtney Take New York' recently airing it looks like the furore won't be dying just yet. Aniston for her part has been in the press all year long thanks to a string of pregnancy rumours, a move of house with boyfriend Justin Theroux and a spat with former husband Brad Pitt. She has worked too, appearing in two movies - 'Just Go With It' and 'Horrible Bosses'.
