Jennifer Hudson forgets she no longer needs extra-large clothes sizes.

The singer-and-actress has lost 80lbs since 2010 and though her weight has now stabilised, she still isn't used to her new shape.

She said: ''I'm getting used to my new self more than anything else.

''I got used to being plus-sized and knowing how to be that, whereas this is like, 'OK, who am I?' I keep thinking that I probably need an extra-large or a large and the stylist is like, 'No, you need a medium or a small.' ''

The 31-year-old star - who has three-year-old son David with her fiance, WWE wrestler David Otunga - admits people keep telling her to stop losing weight, but she is adamant her size hasn't changed for some time.

She told Redbook magazine: ''I'm at the weight I want to be. But I hear all the time, 'Don't lose any more weight, you need to stop.' People are under the impression that I'm still losing but I'm not.''

Jennifer now designs a clothing line for QVC and says she considers whether each piece would suit her, both now and when she was ''big Jennifer''.

She said: ''I know what I like, and that's what it's all about. It's like, who's your fashion icon? Me. And no one but you knows what you feel most comfortable in.

''I look at each piece and think, 'Could I wear that as big Jennifer or could I wear that now?' I want to consider every girl.''
