Jennifer Hudson - Jennifer Hudson Treated For Food Poisoning
Jennifer Hudson, the Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, was briefly treated for food poisoning at a New York hospital today (10th June 2011). Jennifer Hudson was reportedly suffering from "severe abdominal pains" following her live performance on Good Morning America.
Despite early concerns for her wellbeing, Hudson's representative told website Just Jared, "She was treated for food poisoning and released". The 29-year-old was forced to cancel her appearance on CBS' 'The Early Show' due to the illness. Hudson is reportedly working on her first memoir that will document her inspirational weight-loss journey - she famously slimmed down from a size 16 to a size 6, losing a total of 80 pounds. The currently untitled book is scheduled for release in January 2012. Hudson's hospitalization came just hours after fellow singer Selena Gomez was rushed to a medical facility in Los Angeles following an appearance on the Late Show with Jay Leno. Gomez is reportedly still undergoing tests, but the cause of her illness is still not clear.
Jennifer Hudson is currently filming the Farrelly Brothers comedy 'The Three Stooges' with Sofia Vergara and Jane Lynch. The film focuses on a trio of babies who are dumped at the door orphanage, with the story following them into adulthood.
