Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband Cris Judd has turned to one of the stars of hit makeover show Queer Eye For The Straight Guy for advice on how to keep romance with a true love alive.

The dancer, whose brief marriage to J.LO came to an abrupt end last year (02), was given the opportunity by America's US WEEKLY to ask makeover whiz Carson Kressley any question he wanted - and he opted for advice on relationships.

Judd asked, "When you finally find love, how do you keep it going?"

Kressley responds, "If you find love, work and effort are required to sustain it. Say it's your favourite pair of jeans that you love with all your heart. You don't just throw them in the washing machine. Once they're gotten to that perfect phase, where they're broken in and so comfortable, you're going to send them to the dry cleaner.

"You have to do everything in your power to keep them the way that they are. Because if you love something you take care of it."
