Star of upcoming comedy drama 'What To Expect When You're Expecting', Jennifer Lopez revealed to CNN on Saturday (May 5, 2012) that after filming the movie in which she portrays a woman with fertility issues adopting a pair of Ethiopian twins, that she "Could see myself definitely doing it and being open to it for sure whereas before I never thought about it really."
The 42-year-old actress and award-winning recording artist already has twins; 4-year-old Max and Emme; but has recently admitted to having had problems bonding with them within the first couple of weeks of their birth. "I felt sad and depressed and thought the babies didn't love me", she told Redbook magazine. However, after reading the novel that her new film is based on, she says she began to understand her feelings more and it got her through the rough patch. The experience must've been frustrating for her after so much time trying for a baby. She admitted that she has been able to relate to her character more because of this.
It has also been reported recently that J' Lo is keen on a second marriage and having another child with her current love and lead choreographer Casper Smart. The question of whether it will be her own child or an adopted child still remains. She told Cnn in regards to her fellow superstars Angelina Jolie and Madonna choosing the latter "I commend them for it. I think it's a beautiful thing. I think it's a very selfless act of love to adopt a child who you don't know and [have] never seen before and never met before."
