Jennifer Lopez has triumphed over her ex-boyfriend Sean '' Combs in the battle to buy U.S. cable channel Fuse, according to U.S. reports.

NuvoTv, the Latin network backed by Lopez, has acquired the channel for around $200 million (£125 million), reports Billboard.com.

The agreement comes after a bidding war among several media companies to take over the youth-focused channel, including a similar $200 million bid by Combs, whose business empire already includes Revolt Tv.

Lopez became a minority shareholder in NuvoTv in 2012 and also holds a senior role as its chief creative officer.
