Actress, pop-diva and all round renaissance women Jennifer Lopez is set to release her first single since last Octobers 'Papi,' from last year's smash album Love? Lopez will be teaming up with producer REDONE and rapper Pitbull for the new single; the guys who were also behind last years smash single 'On the Floor.' The single premiered on Friday's on Ryan Seacrest's Kiss FM show and will be released as a single on iTunes on April 2nd with a video premiering on April 5th's edition of American Idol, which Seacrest hosts and Lopez serves as a panel judge, Antimusic reports.
The show has also managed to produce a mini-feud between Lopez and fellow bootylicious star Nicki Minaj. Minaj appeared on the show to promote her upcoming album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, before joking that next time she appears she should be on the judging panel, asking J-Lo to "scoot over a bit." Although dismissed as a light-heart affair, views have pointed out the apparent tension between the two with sources claiming that neither stars are big fans of one another. However Hollywood Hiccups has since reported that Minaj has denied any claims of a feud between the two citing her admiration for J-lo. Lopez herself is yet to make any form of statement about the supposed grudge.
