Tom Ford has teamed up with George Clooney to film 'Nocturnal Animals'.

The 53-year-old fashion designer - who is directing the film - has called on the 'Ocean's Eleven' star to join him behind the camera in producing the movie.

The star of the thriller - which is Tom's second directorial offering - is yet to be announced, although Tom hinted that the female protagonist was present at his show in Los Angeles last month.

While Amy Adams, Gwyneth Paltrow, Anjelica Huston, Sofía Vergara, Emily Ratajkowski, Jennifer Lopez, Reece Witherspoon, Scarlett Johannson and Julianne Moore were all present on the frow, Amy has since emerged as the front runner.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom has written the screenplay which is adapted from Austin Wright's novel 'Tony and Susan'.

The award-winning designer - whose debut film 'A Single Man' starring Colin Firth was released in 2009 - has been well received in the movie industry.

The drama landed nominations in the Best First Feature and Best First Screenplay categories at the Independent Spirit Awards, while Colin picked up a BAFTA and nominations at the Academy Award and Golden Globes for his role in the picture.
