Jennifer Love Hewitt gets turned on by stationery stores.

The actress - who recently split from her 'Ghost Whisperer' co-star Jamie Kennedy after a year together - claims her idea of a great date would be to go shopping for pens, paper and folders.

She said: "I love office supplies. I love being organised. It's the folders and the tech. Staples is a place to take me if you want me to get hot and bothered!"

The 31-year-old star also spoke about being single, insisting she is enjoying the freedom because she can focus on the things which make her happy.

She told People magazine: "It's really nice. You definitely get more time with your girlfriends. You get more time to do things around your house. And just to relax and get your nails done and watch TV and have a good glass of wine. It's great."

However, when Jennifer does start dating again, she is determined not to make the same mistakes she has made in the past and only wants to pursue relationships that have the potential to last.

She explained: "You can pretty much figure out on the first 10 dates who the guy is going to be seven months later.

"And we as girls tend to romanticise men right away, and say, 'No, no, no, he didn't mean that.' Or, 'That thing that he did, it kind of bothered me, but it will change.' But it doesn't change. You have to find somebody just who works and gels with you and that's all you can do."
