Jeremy Renner found working with Tom Cruise "like a rollercoaster ride".

The pair star together in 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' and the 'Bourne Legacy' actor regards his co-star as one of the nicest people he has ever worked with.

He told UK TV show 'Daybreak': "Tom's pretty intense, he's like a rollercoaster ride himself. He's high octane, but very generous, a very giving, loving human being. And you won't meet a nicer guy, that's for sure."

Tom - who reprises his role as Ethan Huntin the movie - impressed his co-star so much with his ability to tackle daring stunts in the movie, Jeremy has vowed to take more risks in the future.

He explained: "Tom sort of impressed it upon me - he kind of set a high standard and tone in the movie. It's always better for actors to do the stunts, and certainly like I'm doing them so I'm in - I'll give it a go anyway."

As well as 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol', Jeremy will soon be starring in 'The Bourne Legacy' and thinks fans would be shocked if they realise dhow small scale the production is.

The 40-year-old actor said: "It's a big gig. For such a big movie, it's a really small contained film. Unlike 'Mission: Impossible' - a big spectacle - 'Bourne' movies are very contained.

"It feels like we're shooting in a tiny little independent movie with ten people around in no bigger than a TV studio. So it's been a lot of fun and we're still in the middle of it."
