'Entourage' creator Doug Ellin has revealed the TV series will be adapted into a film.

The 43-year-old executive producer confirmed the TV show - which is based on the life of an upcoming Hollywood actor Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) and also stars Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven - will be turned into a production fit for the big screen.

He told reporters at the bi-annual Television Critics Association meetings: "We are going to do a movie. It's a question of when and how quick. Hopefully we will sit down and come up with an idea."

Mark Wahlberg, executive producer of the TV programme, also revealed he wants the show to be a motion picture because the episodes are "Too Short".

He explained: "Well, I said if I had to finance myself, I'd do it. I certainly hope it has a chance to become a feature film, everybody always says the episodes are too short. Viewers want to go on a Journey.'The Hangover' to me is like 'Entourage'."
