Actor Jerry Ferrara was so overcome with emotion on the last day of filming Entourage last week (end01Jul11), he broke down in tears.
The cast finished filming the final scenes for the eighth and final season of the drama - about a pampered rising movie star and his friends - last Tuesday (28Jun11) and Ferrara, who has played Turtle in the hit HBO series since it started in 2004, admits he found the final moments difficult.
He tells PR.com, "It was tough for me. I remember waking up in the morning and kind of just dreading it, knowing that it’s going to be hard. Then it became such a long work day that towards the end I was so tired that I thought, 'OK, maybe I’m actually not going to be emotional about it, because I’m exhausted.'
"But, sure enough, when they called 'wrap' I lost it. I had to go on a little man walk by myself and shed some tears, and it was really tough. I don’t know how I feel about it just yet. I’m excited about a lot of things but I’m also sad about a lot of things."
