Jessica Alba doesn't want to take on acting work that is too ''time consuming'' because she wants to spend time with her family.
Jessica Alba is looking for acting jobs that aren't "time consuming".
The 'Spy Kids 4' actress recently welcome second daughter Haven with husband Cash Warren, and she revealed she is now hoping to get work which means she does not have to spend too much time away from her family.
She said: "It's more about the time commitment and the people I'm working with more than anything. I won't just take a job for a pay cheque necessarily.
"Now it's, 'Am I going to grow as an actor and is this going to be challenging? Do I absolutely love this character, do I respect this filmmaker? Is it going to be six months out of the year or is it going to be two weeks?'
"So I've taken jobs that aren't really time consuming and are more creatively fulfilling."
However, 'Machete' star Jessica admits she would be happy to take on a more active role in the new future.
She added to GlobalGrind.com: "I'd like to do an action movie. I haven't really done action, like real action, since 'Dark Angel'. It would be really fun to get back in that game."
