Jessica Biel and Sofia Vergara are in talks to star in 'New Year's Eve'.

The Hollywood beauties are the latest in a number of big-named stars to sign up to the 'Valentine's Day' sequel, with 'Glee' actress Lea Michele, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank and Robert De Niro all involved.

The pair would take leading roles in the ensemble movie, set to be directed by Garry Marshall, according to The Hollywood reporter.

Negotiations will have to complete soon, with mid-December eyed for a start date on the project, being produced by Mike Karz and Wayne Rice.

Biel is expected to play a pregnant woman who is trying to win a cash prize given by a hospital to the first couple to give birth on New Year's Day, although Vergara's role is unknown.

'A-Team' actress Biel will next be seen in comedy movie 'Nailed' with Jake Gyllenhaal and James Marsden, while Vergara is voicing the role of Odile in 2011 animated movie 'The Smurfs'.
