Jessica Ennis would love to front a campaign for Alexander McQueen or Victoria Beckham.

The 26-year-old athlete - who won a gold medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games in the heptathlon - would like to expand her remit beyond sport and would enjoy the opportunity to do some work in fashion.

She said: ''Obviously Alexander McQueen is my favourite. Otherwise I really like Victoria Beckham, I think her dresses are really stunning and they're structured, which is quite like my own style.

''It would be amazing to be in a campaign for a big designer! But then I do love high street brands too, like Reiss and French Connection.''

Jessica admits she does not have a stylist - despite being seen in a string of designer dresses since her gold medal win earlier this month - and simply sticks to what she likes when it comes to clothes.

She added to Vogue.co.uk: ''I don't have a stylist but I know what I like, so I really stick to that. Everyone wants to look nice, I think - if they're in the public eye - but I don't feel pressure, I just choose the things that I know suit me.''
