Elbow, Marina and the Diamonds and Goldfrapp have signed up for this year's Little Noise Sessions.

The artists have the joined the bill for the annual intimate charity concerts, which see artists play special stripped back sets in London to aid charity Mencap.

Guy Garvey of Elbow - who will open the sessions, which are curated by radio DJ Jo Whiley - said: "We are dead proud to be added to the list of amazing bands that have done the Little Noise Sessions for Jo Whiley and Mencap.

"In fact we have organised a warm up tour of Europe before the show to make sure we are in tip top condition when we play!"

The sessions - running for their sixth year - will take place in November and during their history they have provided some particularly poignant performances, such as Elton John's mesmerising concert in 2010 and a set by one of Jo's personal favourites, Amy Winehouse.

Speaking of the late star, who passed away suddenly earlier this year, Jo told BANG Showbiz: "She was really lovely. The first thing she did was one of the Little Noise sessions and you don't get paid for that kind of thing, but she turned up and did a really brilliant show in the Union Chapel, a beautiful venue, and she was really on form.

"She also hung around afterward, and she was really lovely, really generous and just a lovely person."

The Little Noise Sessions will take place from November 22 to 27 with tickets available from October 10, or on pre-sale for subscribers, for more information visit www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk
