Jodie Marsh stunned fans last week by unveiling her muscular new look, and the former glamour model claims her physique has got men fighting over her, reports the UK's Sun newspaper. After two months of intense training and dieting, Marsh competed in her first bodybuilding contest last weekend
The 32-year-old, from Brentwood, Essex, said despite shocked reactions from fans, she feels more attractive than ever, saying, "I have never attracted so much interest from blokes in my life.No one was chatting me up. I despaired of ever having a boyfriend, or even a date, again. But since I became a bodybuilder I've suddenly got about 50 guys interested in me". Marsh, who split with her husband Matt Peacock after just three months of marriage, has dropped from a size 12 to a size 6 and lost 20lb of fat. Her training routine included eight hours a day in the gym, while her diet consists of fifteen egg whites washed down with protein shakes. The model said, "At times I felt like I was dying. There were moments when I broke down, crying, feeling I couldn't go on. I got so weak that one day I couldn't even carry my own bag out of the gym". In order to add muscle and score highly at the bodybuilding competition, Marsh claims she wasn't allowed fruits, vegetables, fats or dairy.
She finished 5th overall at the Natural Physique Association Bodybuilding Championships in Sheffield.
