Singer/songwriter John Legend has thrown his support behind a new campaign to keep kids in school.
Legend has teamed up with American advertising giant Proctor & Gamble to shoot a series of commercials and online adverts to raise money for Communities in Schools, an organisation which empowers students and encourages them to succeed.
The Ordinary People hitmaker has long been focused on improving learning programmes in the United States and reversing the high drop-out rate in impoverished communities.
He tells the Associated Press, "I believe that making sure that every kid has a quality education is the key to making sure that every kid has the opportunity to pursue the American dream."
