A list of errands written by John Lennon is expected to fetch at least $4,000 (£2,500) when it goes up for auction this week (begs28Nov11).
The scribbled note includes odd jobs like buying marmalade, putting back his son Sean's mattress, and asking his pal Sam Green for the return of his book Thor Heyerdahl - but top of his to-do list is sorting out his cable TV box.
He writes, "1) H.B.O. guy coming between 3-5: Be There (the other guy didn't know what was wrong)".
The former Beatle dated the list 22 May, although the year is unknown.
The note will go under the hammer on Wednesday (30Nov11) as part of the Gotta Have Rock and Roll online sale and will have a starting bid of $3,000 (£1,875).
It's the latest piece of Lennon memorabilia to be placed on auction - one of the singer's teeth sold for $32,000 (£20,000) earlier this month (Nov11), while his 'Bed Peace' sign, created during his 1969 'bed-in' peace protest in a Canadian hotel with wife Yoko Ono, was purchased by a fan for $155,600 (£97,250).
Lennon was shot dead outside his New York apartment in 1980.
