A plastercast of John Lennon's hand is up for auction.

The cast was made in the '60s for a waxwork at MADAME TUSSAUD'S wax museum and is now owned by STEPHEN FIJALKOWSKI who specialises in making casts of body parts.

FIJALKOWSKI claims to have turned down $20,000 (GBP15,000) for the hand and expects to get more.

He says, "It's an amazing thing, wonderful and has a calming aura."

He wants to the hand to go to "someone like Oasis's GALLAGHER brothers, because they love Lennon."
