A Representative For John Mayer Has Threatened Legal Action Against A Former Bouncer Who Named The Musician In A Lawsuit Accusing A Nightclub Boss Of Forcing Him To Buy Drugs For Celebrity Clients.
Leonard Taylor, who previously worked as a bodyguard for actors including Mark Wahlberg and Uma Thurman, has filed suit against Barry Mullineaux, who owns New York nightclubs Greenhouse and Wip, alleging he made him purchase cocaine for a number of high-profile guests.
Mayer was among the names mentioned in the lawsuit, and a spokesperson for the rocker has now spoken out to vehemently deny the claims and threaten legal action against Taylor.
The representative tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "It's completely untrue. It's a flat-out lie. I'm certain Mr. Mayer's attorneys will become involved."
